Last month I launched my show called The Cloud9 Show. The first series of this show is called Demystifying The Cloud where I covered the key concepts of the Cloud Computing along with some of the commercial implementations of the Cloud. The unique thing about The Cloud9 Show is that you can download the video, audio, article and slides for each episode. Within the first few days of launching the...

I have been following this event every year for the last decade (I still remember the very first event where it was called Bang!Linux). I managed to present at foss.in in 2002 and 2003 (It was called Linux Bangalore at that point). Since then this event has become a phenomenon and raises the bar year on year! Kudos to Atul Chitnis (@achitnis) and his team for turning this into a cult.

Today I delivered my talk on Cloud Computing and Open Source at the Business Technology Summit 09. I reached the venue just before my session. JN Tata Auditorium at Indian Institute of Science is my favorite venue to present. I delivered many of my talks here in the last 10 years. Particularly, Hall-1 is very special to me as I happened to deliver some of my best sessions including the talk on...

I had the opportunity to be a part of Microsoft Community TechDays at Hyderabad and Bangalore. What is special about CTD? This is run completely by the community and the User Groups with a very little support from Microsoft.

I reached the venue by 9:15AM and the keynote by Oracle was about to start. I liked the venue for its ambiance and environment.
My first session, Google App Engine for Java Developers started at 10:40 and I had the hall full in few minutes. The audience were interactive and came with a good understanding of the core concepts. I managed to deliver the session in the stipulated 55 min. slot. I...

Today Niraj & I presented at Tech.Ed 2009 Community Event in Bangalore. This is organized by one of the most vibrant Microsoft communities in the country – B.NET. The organizers managed to get almost the same set of speakers who presented at Tech.Ed 2009 event held in Hyderabad last month.
Though the session started with a few audiences, the hall was 75% full by the time I reached the...
